Christmas and Spring/Summer 2024 calendar
The shared group walking tours (mixed groups) are organized during the summer months and Christmas period Hermes Sicily's professional tour guides offer weekly tours to discover the highlights of the provinces of Syracuse and Ragusa, in southeastern Sicily. In 2024 our group tours will run from the end of March to the end of October and during the Christmas holidays. The tours are on scheduled days and starting times and the meeting point with the guide in on place (transport not included).

The shared group tours take place only on the days published in the table below. During the other days or other months of the year it's only possible to book a private guide.
General information
The shared group tours (or mixed groups), published on this page, are walking tours lead by professional tour guides of Hermes Sicily's team. It's possible to join the tours paying the rate 'per person'. The shared group tours take place only during the summer months and the Christmas period. The yearly program can vary and the tours itineraries are choosen among the town centers and archaeological sites of southeastern Sicily. The updated summer program is published in May and the Christmas program at the beginning of December. The duration of each tour is about 1h30m/2h and the meeting point with the guide is on location. No transport is included. Usually the tour takes place with small groups of 10-15 participants and explanation in English language. In some rare cases there could be larger groups or explanations in 2 languages. The group tours take place with min. 6-8 participants, depending by the tour and could be cancelled if the min. number of participants is not reached. The tours take place with rain or shine. Only in case of weather alert and closure of a monument for security reasons the tour will be cancelled and we will contact all the registered guests.
Participation fee
The participation fee is specified in the details of each tour. Please have a look at the page of the tour which you are interested in, for details about the itineary and reduced prices for children. Admission fees, where required are not included unless otherwise specified in the description of the tour.
Booking fee
If you want to book a tour, please click on the button 'book' and use the online form. Payment is possible with a credit or debit card.
Cancellation policy
Cancelling the booking within 48 hours before the tour no cancellation fee is required and you will be full refund. Cancelling between 24 and 48 hours prior the starting time of the tour, 50% of the cost will be retained as cancellation fee. No refund is possible cancelling less than 24 hours prior the starting time or in case of 'no show'. The tours run will all weather conditions, rain or shine.
