Join our free donation walking tour and discover the enchanting island of Ortigia, the old town center of Siracusa. Follow our guide through the narrow streets and learn about the history and the monuments of the town. During the tour you will see remains of the ancient Greek town, baroque churches and picturesque hidden corners. Highlights of Ortigia are the cathedral square with its church built over an ancient Greek temple and the beautiful promenade with its panorama over the sea and the natural bay of the town. After the tour our guide will be happy to give you advices on what else to visit or general information about public transport, eating and shopping options
The tour lasts about 1h30m and a licensed, English-speaking, local guide will lead you. The scheduled visits take place with every weather condition, so, if it's rainy, bring an umbrella with you.
